All meetings are free and open to the public. They are usually held on the 1st Thursday of the month and our primary venue is the West Bloomfield Public Library. However, meeting date, and location occasionally change due to venue availability. Meeting details are always provided via email notices, on the website, and meeting schedule.

Join the Western Wayne Indivisible group to a weekly protest outside of the Tesla Dealership, 6800 Orchard Lake Rd in W. Bloomfield, every Thursday from 4 - 6 pm. Bring your own signs. See other Tesla protests at teslatakedown.com.

Join Waterford Dems for a peaceful sidewalk protest against the ongoing Musk/Trump coup. Fire unelected Elon Musk for illegal actions and protect our American democracy. Bring your signs and flags. Every Monday from 4-6 pm at the corner of M59 and Crescent Lake Rd.

WBLDems 2025 Designated Charity -
Oakland County Poverty & Homelessness Task Force

Please join us collect items for the Oakland County Poverty & Homelessness Task Force, with the help of Kimber Bishop-Yanke, founder of the non-profit Kids Empowered on the Move, to benefit persons in need in our area and nearby communities.  Due to high levels of need and cuts in funding, we are collecting donated items at our monthly meetings throughout this year. 

Ongoing Needs:
• Toilet paper
• Laundry detergent, dish soap & multi-purpose cleaning products
• Diapers & wipes (always needed)
 
Monetary Donations
Kimber Bishop-Yanke reports funds are very low and donations will be gratefully accepted at: kidsempoweredonthemove.org/donate/ or bring checks payable to “Kids Empowered on the Move” to our meetings or mail them to 1787 W Big Beaver Rd, Troy Mi 48084

Bi-monthly general membership meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm. The next one will be on Wednesday, July 23rd, 7:00 pm, location TBD. Details here.
