Get Involved

WBLDems Executive Committee election will take place at our November meeting for the 2026-2027 term. We will discuss it at our October meeting. If you are interested in an at-large position, please be aware that there is a time commitment to attend ExComm meetings (normally by Zoom) and our monthly general membership meetings. We ask that you take a leadership role on one of our committees, actively participate in club events, and most importantly, support election efforts. If you want to run for the Ex Comm, position descriptions are here and please submit the attached bio or resume 30 days before the election, (October 14) to chair@wbldems.org. The work of the ExComm makes our club more meaningful and effective.

See our election procedure here. To run or vote in this election you must be a member of BOTH WBLDems and the Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) for at least 30 days before the Nov 13 election (October 14), except for precinct delegates and elected officials. However, everyone must still be a member of both groups to vote.

Join WBLDems here and MDP here. For mail in options or to check your member status, contact erichsusan@yahoo.com. All candidates and voters must arrive at the November meeting by 6 pm.
