NO KINGS PROTEST on MARCH 28

As President Trump escalates his attempts to control us, it is on us, the people, to show that we will fight to protect one another and our country. If he believes we will roll over and allow him to take our freedoms, he is mistaken. We are coming together again on March 28 because we know we can overcome this repression when we unite. Join millions of your fellow Americans to rally for our Democracy! America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who rule through fear. It belongs to us, the people.

Join the Conversation on
Saturday, April 4 at the WB Library

JOIN THE CONVERSATION is a team-building event to generate interest in organizing for November. We will teach all about your precinct, how to communicate with your Dem neighbors, and how to Get Out the Vote (GOTV). This is an opportunity for you to plug in and make a impact on voters in West Bloomfield and the Lakes.

Let's move away from fundraising texts, doom-scrolling and insipid messages and into taking action here in WB, one block, one household at a time.

We want to hear from you, what is important to your neighbors, and your family. We want to educate you. Do you have questions about the Dem party structure? Do you know what a precinct delegate does? Let us teach you how to become a local activist.

Become part of the conversation in WB and the Lakes. There is no charge for this event. Light refreshments will be provided.

RSVP or learn more, email Janine Riley at j9riley@me.com.

PRECINCT DELEGATES…. It’s time to walk the talk!

All PDs must file to run on the August ballot. The deadline is May 5th. You can fill out a Precinct Delegate Affidavit at our April 7 Club Meeting. We will notarize and submit to the Clerk. The affidavit table will open at 6:00 pm, a half hour before the meeting. You may also make an appointment with our notary.

Contact chair@wbldems.org for more info.

opposing data centers

Data centers are booming nationwide and the Great Lakes area is especially attractive because they require excessive amounts of water to cool them. Developers are publicly pursuing projects in at least 10 Michigan communities, including Saline, Southfield, Howell, Kalkaska, Grand Rapids, and Kalamazoo.
