MDP Voter protection team

The Voter Protection Team works to ensure that every eligible Michigander can vote and that every legally cast ballot is counted.

help immigrant families

CAFÉ, (Community Aid For Empowerment) is a grassroots organization committed to supporting immigrant families and individuals by providing mutual aid, commissary support for those detained, reuniting families, legal assistance, and rapid response resources. More info: CAFE

WBLDems will be collecting donations at our monthly meetings for CAFE to help immigrant families. Requested items include non-perishable food, feminine hygiene products, toddler sized diapers and financial contributions.

Options to Change Your Vote

If you have already cast an absentee ballot for a candidate who has recently dropped out of the race, or you changed your mind, you may change your vote.

A voter who turned in their absentee ballot has the right to change their vote by spoiling their ballot and requesting a new one. The request must be in writing, signed by the voter, and received by the voter's city or township clerk by 5 p.m. on July 24. Contact your city/township clerk for more information. All Michigan clerks' contact information is at Michigan.gov/Vote.
